If We Chose the Nominees…

We like Dune. Maybe even love it. Denis Villeneuve’s Dune appears throughout our nominee shortlists 7 times, a far and away first place from Spencer and Licorice Pizza in a tied second. Overall though, the film we believe most deserving of a Best Picture nominee, C’mon C’mon, was not nominated for an award at this year’s ceremony, much to our disappointment. Notably, we were also keen on The Green Knight, a film we believe should have been nominated in the technical categories.
