If We Chose the Nominees…

This year’s ‘If We Chose the Nominees’ resulted in a well-rounded appreciation for a number of our favorite films this year including Parasite, Marriage Story, The Irishman, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Little Women. Notably, Portrait of a Lady on Fire and Uncut Gems also received a nod from our critics contrasting their dismissal by The Academy. We wrote about a number of these films last year in our Film Favorites of 2019.
